SIZING GUIDE
Sizing a generator to sufficiently back-up the utility power can be a rather complex process. The National Electrical Code assumes that the user will want to utilize appliances and other electrical device at the same rate during the utility outage as they would normally. Our experience is that many people are willing to curtail the use of some of their appliances if they are able to size a smaller generator that will be less cost initially, use less fuel, and be less to maintain.
There are methods to achieve your preference while meeting code standards. These include automatic load-shedding switches, select circuit back-up and of course, sizing the system to back up the entire home under any circumstances.
Premier Power Systems, Inc. offers a free power survey of your home or business to discuss your requirements and design a generator system for your needs. Our survey will take place at your convenience and will require about fifteen to thirty minutes. Once completed, we will send you a quotation of our price to complete the installation and list the equipment we will use. There will be absolutely no obligation on your part to go forward with a purchase.
